URLS
URLs - Universal Resource Locators, are the Interenet addresses we use to visit various websites. The easiest way to copy a URL for digital curation is to highlight the ENTIRE address and use
CTRL-C to copy the URL and CTRL-V to past the URL into the place in which it is to be stored

BOOKMARKLETS
BOOKMARKLETS are small programs that many Digital Curation services offer to make saving information to their service easier. By installing these buttons on your Browser (Chrome or IE), you can simply click on the button when you are on a website that your would like to save. Some examples:
LINKING & EMBEDDING
LINKING is simply providing a URL or a tiny url - usually generated by the site itself (such as YouTube).
EMBEDDING is a process by which the actual content (examples: YouTube video or Widget) is placed within the digital resource you are creating or curating.
